Clocks - Design Brief

During Wednesday's lesson I had to create a google drawing. I had to insert different styles of clocks like an analogue, digital, hour glass, hanging clock and more.

What I learnt in this lesson was a new way of telling the time. That way is through looking at a sun dial. The sun dial tells you what time of day it is by the location of the sun's shadow.

After this technology lesson I am now very excited and can't wait until the next lesson comes around.

3D Oblique Sketching

At Tamaki College I learnt how to 3D sketch and I also learnt how to shade a cube. I had to draw other shapes as well like a pyramid and a cylinder.

Another thing I learnt was how to create three different tones, light, medium and dark. We also had to master shading a shadow to make it look more realistic.

Duffy Stuck In A Video Game!

On Monday we had some memorable visitors who came to perform at Ruapotaka School. Every time they come they produce a phenomenal  performance that is very humorous. This weeks performance was about Duffy having an argument with his cousin, Sam, about which is better, reading or video games. When Duffy wore Nana's magical glasses and did her amusing dance, he gets sucked into a video game called ''Magic Bricks.'' The concept of the game is to finish building your tower before the Dismantler destroys it.

Syndicate Assembly

On Monday the eleventh of February the year 8's and prefects were in charge of producing an item for the Syndicate Assembly. Jessica, Tristan and Peni created their own version of the English New Zealand, National Anthem. In my opinion the new version was more easier to understand what it is all about.

Me- Technicraft Lesson

 My teacher's name for Tech is Miss Ferguson. The class that I am in is graphics. Our task was to copy and paste pictures that tell anyone who views about what we like, on a google drawing. I learnt how to make my own avatar.

Back At School! 2019

Monday was my first day in Room 12 at Ruapotaka School. I'll have to admit I was scared. The other girls were agitated.  Surprisingly, Monday wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.

This year I have a lot of expectations and responsibilities to live up to.

 Every day at school this year I have to sit next to Liza. Then next to Liza is Winnie. Liza helped Winnie and I yesterday and today. Liza is extremely helpful, and a very good friend.

 Looking forward to going to Tech next week, I'm very excited.
