Over 600 rats have been washed up on the beach, and scientists are worried that more may follow. Some of the rats have been taken to tested why this is happening.
Some people believe that rats could have been washed out by 1080 poison operation 140 km away.
Residents have been warned to keep their dogs off the beach.
