Human Sized Penguin Found In Waipara
The fossils of a human sized penguin that lived about 56 to 66 million years ago. The fossilised bones of Crossvallia waiparensis were found by an amateur palaeontologist named Leigh Love.
Evidence showed that this giant bird weighed about 80 kg and was about 1.6m tall.
