I think the three vegetables and meat rule is AMAZING! I like it because it's a source of protein and all your vitamins are from the vegetables. I would enjoy a 1950s meal because, first of all I love meat and also because I love broccoli.
Hey again, well done on this activity too. I like the reasons you have used to justify your opinion. Great work! I think I would like this sort of meal too. It's simple, easy to prepare and well balanced. This sort of food would help you compete in the Waka Ama I think!
It is great to see that you have been so active and able to complete a number of activities already!
I, too, love broccoli but I must admit that it wasn't always my favourite. I can remember being a young girl and begging my mom not to give me broccoli for dinner (but she always would)! I suppose that I should be grateful because I now really like it. Are there any foods that you now like to eat that you didn't enjoy eating when you were younger?
My son, Aronui, is seven years old and he still won't eat tomatoes. I'm doing everything that I can to convince him to give them a try but, so far, nothing is working!
I hope that you and your family have a really lovely holiday season filled with delicious meals and lots of broccoli!
Hi Kotipi. I have to say that I love eating meat with a little bit of vegetables. If I could get away with just eating meat I would .... but even I'm not allowed. I think food from the 50s is so different from the food we eat now. I could tell you what is different but I know how clever you are, I'm sure you could find out loads of differences, probably more than I could tell you. Keep putting that wonderful brain of yours to good use. Look forward to seeing what you come up with next.

ReplyDeleteHi there Kotipi. It's your brother here just saying how well you're doing in this program, and see how you progress and grow threw out the year.
